Praveen Jakate

Praveen has over 20 years of leadership experience in Fortune 500 FMCG companies, including The Hershey Company, Johnson & Johnson and Procter & Gamble, driving business turnarounds and profitable growth.

His last role was as Chairman and Managing Director for the South Asia region, covering 8 countries and over 500 employees for The Hershey Company. Prior to that, he was the Chief Financial Officer for Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe for The Hershey Company. Praveen has worked and lived in India, Singapore and Philippines.

He is currently an independent consultant and devotes considerable time to charitable causes.

Praveen is an engineer from Mumbai University and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management – Ahmedabad. He also has attended senior leadership programs at Harvard Business School and Thunder Bird School of Global Management.
