Chng Yi Ta

Yi Ta is a business and innovation leader with senior leadership and global roles in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Innovation Consulting and Real Estate industries. Yi Ta also held operationally focused, regional and global positions with Proctor & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson and Ascendas-Singbridge/Capitaland. Yi Ta also founded the Asian branch of What If Innovation Asia, an Innovation consultancy with multinational clients across diverse business segments. Yi Ta is presently based in Singapore after 28 years abroad in global gateway cities like Shanghai, Kobe, Hong Kong, London, Bangkok and Paris.

Yi Ta is experientially driven and a keen adventure traveller who has made extensive family excursions to over 50 countries with his wife and daughter before she was 10. They travelled primarily in Africa, Europe, Asia including a year in Latin America. The family contributed to, and participated in conservation projects during and after their travels. Yi Ta is active in sports, including diving, skiing, and horse riding trips in Mongolia, South Africa, Mozambique, Australia, Chile, Ecuador and Brazil.
