The social-emotional skills that clients learn in the other modules are sealed up through the cultivation of practical mental habits that they can apply when they return to their schools and homes. Such mindfulness techniques teach clients how to regulate their impulses, reframe their thinking, and cultivate a sense of gratitude, among other things.

This module is conducted in partnership with a certified trainer from Mindful Schools, a California-based organisation that has trained tens of thousands of teachers in mainstream American schools in age-appropriate mindfulness.
